Key Maternity Coverage Features

Maternity Coverage: Available to women aged 19-45 who have selected the Extensive or Elite Hospital and Surgery plans on anil deductible basis, and the Out patient module.

Complications of Pregnancy: Covered under the Hospital and Surgery plans for those with Extensive or Elite coverage levels.

Neonatal Disabilities: Covered, but only applicable to Newborn Additions (please refer to the Terms and Conditions for further details).

Exclusion for Assisted Conception: Pregnancy or childbirth complications arising from major assisted conception are not covered, unless specifically listed under Maternity Benefits in the benefits schedule.
Routine Outpatient Maternity:
For certain outpatient services related to routine prenatal and postnatal care, the following benefits apply:

Physician consultation fees, diagnostic scans and tests, and medicines or drugs prescribed by a physician or licensed midwifery practice or clinic for routine pre-natal and post-natal services.

Co-insurance Waiver: The20% co-insurance is waived if selected under the out patient module for the above services, up to 45 days following birth.

Waiting Period: A366-day waiting period applies for routine outpatient maternity services (please refer to the Terms and Conditions for more details).
Special Limits on Certain Treatments:
Certain disabilities and treatments are subject to specific sub-limits and coverage limits. Please refer to your benefits schedule for details on the maximum payout for losses arising from complications or treatment.
